Dr. Yuting (Tina) Chen

One PhD graduate assistant position with full financial support is available in the Department of Engineering Technology and Construction Management at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNC Charlotte). The expected starting semester of this position is Fall 2024. Funding will be available through graduate (research and/or teaching) assistantships.

Qualifications

  • High-performing domestic and international students with a Master’s degree in one of the following disciplines: Civil Engineering, Construction Engineering and Management, Architectural Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, or other relevant fields.
  • Python, R, or C++ programming background.
  • With a self-motivated, independent, responsible, and enthusiastic personality.
  • Strong English writing and speaking skills.
  • Publication records and (or) solid research experience are preferred.

Research Area

  • Digital health and safety of construction workers aiming to build resilience of construction companies.
  • Digital transformation in construction: threats, opportunities, and implementation framework.
