Position Description:

Dr. Maanak Gupta is seeking multiple PhD students to join the Applied and Basic CyberSecurity (ABCYS) Research Lab at Tennessee Tech University (TTU). Students will contribute to a variety of research projects at the intersection of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and cybersecurity.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in AI/ML and cybersecurity.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in computer science or a closely related field.
  • Research experience in the areas of AI/ML and cybersecurity.

Research Topics/Area:

  • Convergence of artificial intelligence/machine learning (AI/ML) and cybersecurity.

Project Details:

Students will engage in multiple research projects in the lab focusing on AI/ML and cybersecurity integration.

Funding:

Full-time PhD students will officially enroll in the PhD program at TTU and will be supported through research assistantships (RA) or teaching assistantships (TA). Funding will cover tuition and include a competitive stipend for living expenses.
