Requirements
- A fundamental grasp of cement chemistry is essential for this role.
- Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in Civil Engineering or a closely related field, accompanied by prior research experience in cementitious materials.
- Demonstrated accomplishments in research, including publications in peer-reviewed journals and presentations at national and international conferences.
- A robust understanding of various low-carbon cementitious materials.
- Proficiency in experimental techniques for processing and characterizing cementitious materials (e.g., SEM, TEM, XRD, etc.).
- Ability to work in a team environment with strict deadlines
- Oral and written communication skills in English, and self-motivation with strong work ethics
Responsibilities
- Undertake the design and execution of nano/micro-scale experimental investigations focusing on low-carbon cementitious materials.
- Analyze data, compile project reports, and draft high-quality scientific publications.
- Regularly present project updates to our federal sponsors.
